SAINT Industrial Radiographer Personal Authority Program (IRPAP)
The Directorate: Radiation Control, under the Department of Health, has appointed the SAINT Professional Body for Non-Destructive Testing (SPBNDT) to act on its behalf in assessing the radiation safety competency of Industrial Radiographers in South Africa. This authority applies to personnel working with Group III electronic equipment and Group IV hazardous substances, ensuring that all practitioners meet the required safety and competency standards for operating within the industrial radiography sector.
