DEKRA Industrial RSA formerly Raysonics – established in 1984 and was operational in the Vaal Triangle, Gauteng Province.
The first branch office was established in Middelburg Mpumalanga in 1988, Secunda operations based on Sasol Secunda followed thereafter
In 2005 the company was considered the No 1 NDT Company in South Africa.
In 2006 the company opened their third branch in Johannesburg, Gauteng to service the Aviation and Aerospace industry and adopted the industrial sectors since then.
In 2013 DEKRA acquired Raysonics and officially changed the name to DEKRA Industrial RSA in 2014. In 2017 DEKRA opened their metallurgical laboratory and received SABS accreditation in early 2018.
DEKRA has a NOSA 5 star safety grading and were regional winners of the NOSCAR safety award in 2018. Further accreditations include ISO 17025 and ISO 9001:2008 certification with a B-BBEE Level 4.
DEKRA employs 533 staff members which can be broken up into Technical, Admin, Safety, Assistants, Support Staff, etc.
